The GO-FER IV is a portable, durable, and highly versatile tractor designed to handle a wide range of cutting and welding applications. It supports both oxy-fuel and plasma torches for cutting, and it can also be outfitted with a plasma torch for gouging. Built for use in any position—including overhead—the GO-FER IV features a rack and pinion drive system with wheels secured inside the V-groove of the rail, allowing smooth travel in any plane, even upside down.

For straight-line cutting and beveling with an oxy-fuel torch, the unit includes everything needed except the torch itself. The torch holder is compatible with any standard 1-3/8″ (35 mm) diameter machine torch fitted with a 32-pitch gear rack. A rear-mounted quick-action gas manifold acts as a strain reliever for the torch hoses and enables the operator to control gas flow without readjusting torch settings. A cable anchor is also included to provide strain relief for supply hoses and the power cord.

With a wide speed range of 2.5–100 ipm (63.5–2540 mm/min) and a precise rack and pinion drive, the GO-FER IV is perfectly suited for use with plasma cutting systems. It includes a built-in contactor switch to start and stop the plasma arc, and its adjustable torch racking allows for accurate straight cuts and bevels. With the appropriate tip installed, it can also perform mechanized gouging—no machine change required.
